I am Sue Davies Pearson, a designer and Art Director with over 25 years experience in DM, Advertising, Marketing and illustration.


I am a passionate and dedicated creative thinker with a strong strategic knowledge and the ability to work from initial concepts through to finished Art-Work and print. I have worked at award-winning agencies and I now work on a freelance basis, specialising in not-for-profit and Charity clients.

 

I often work as a creative team alongside copywriter Clare Sychrava, view her portfolio HERE. But I am also happy to work with other writers and teams - in creative agencies or directly with charities. I can come in-house, or work from my home studio in South London on a daily or weekly rate - depending on the job.

 

From compelling appeals to persuasive legacy materials and engaging newsletters, I can help deliver great value print and digital communications - to brief and to schedule. I am very flexible in my approach and have experience working across most areas of communication, including Direct Marketing campaigns, Corporate Identities, Newsletters, Advertising and Sales Promotion, for print and online. I also take commissions for illustrations.

 

I am a Director for Sprout Community Arts - leading many of their initiatives, and I am the Marketing Director for The Furzedown Project, a small charity for older people, with responsibility for producing their print assets, communications (including email newsletter), social media and website. I also work with a fundraising group FACE which has raised over £100,000 for local charities - thanks in part to my marketing, design and promotional experience.
